To my knowledge, the last update of this package is from 2016:

And the report from 2017. Therefore, I’m closing.
Well, the bug is still probably there. But it appears to me better to
starts a fresh ticket on Codeberg if people are still interested in
tacking it.
Feel free to reopen if my closing appears to you to harsh.
