Ah, sorry, that one got compiled with the new glibc. You need to add deb http://snapshot.debian.net/archive/2007/07/31/debian pool hurd in your /etc/apt/sources.list, then apt-get install hurd=20070606-2 Note: such issues only have to do with Debian, bug-hurd doesn't really need to know.
