Let me say again that this fork would only be so that we can continue working more effectively. Here are comments on some of the patches from > [glibc]/trunk/debian/patches/hurd-i386/: Another one: as per a recent glibc HEAD change, our upstream posix_opt.h was already changed by Ulrich, but now in Debian's hurd-i386/local-pthread_posix-option.diff, _POSIX_THREADS should no longer be defined to 200112L, but to 200809L instead. If we advertize libpthread in there, should we do so in there for other _POSIX_* likewise as well? I'm not familiar with that interface, and I didn't check yet. Regards, Thomas
