Summary: Trace all tasks and threads Project: The GNU Hurd Submitted by: zhengda Submitted on: Sat 16 May 2009 05:24:05 PM GMT Category: other Hurd Priority: 5 - Normal Status: Works For Me Privacy: Public Assigned to: None Originator Email: Open/Closed: Open Discussion Lock: Any Planned Release: None Wiki-like text discussion box: _______________________________________________________ Details: rpctrace wraps all task and thread control ports by calling task_set_kernel_port() and thread_set_kernel_port(). In order to trace the first thread of the first task, rpctrace keeps checking exec_startup_get_info() (I assume exec_startup_get_info is always called when the traced program starts.) This patch solves bug #3939[1] with the solution discussed in http://savannah.gnu.org/patch/?1633 [1] http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?3939 _______________________________________________________ File Attachments: ------------------------------------------------------- Date: Sat 16 May 2009 05:24:05 PM GMT Name: rpctrace.diff Size: 4kB By: zhengda <http://savannah.gnu.org/patch/download.php?file_id=18148> _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.gnu.org/patch/?6830> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/
