I think that the Hurd team spends a fair amount of time answering questions
on irc / email about how to run the Hurd via qemu. Time which could be better
spent elsewhere. :)

As a parallel, the guix people have the guix-install.sh script (1), which
installs
the guix package manager on top of a GNU/Linux distro. They essentially do not
have
to answer many questions about how to install guix anymore. :)

What do you all think?

And thanks Alicia!
