A single patch that results in a frame buffer being made available to Hurd post boot. This is successfully used by the Hurd console with a default resolution of 1280x800 once the vga-system.bdf has been installed (it was missing on my installation).
As far as I can see, the most significant issue remaining for true UEFI support is finding a solution to presenting the boot output in the case where a serial console is not available. I'm looking at the UEFI Graphics Output Protocol as a possibility. Mike.
