Welcome! Just have a look at http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/bug-inetutils/2008-06/msg00025.html which mentions some of the immediate work that needs to be done. Apart from that you can also have a look at the TODO file in the source tree. Once you start sending patches and have assigned copyright over your work to the FSF, we can add you to the Inetutils group in Savannah.
