Right, the distributions should be the ones filtering downstream bug reports, support requests, etc, before sending them to upstream. Also if something breaks due to a snapshot, then that's the distribution responsibility, not upstream's. Anyway, if a new release is imminent, then I'd certainly wait, it's just that inetutils' releases have been pretty sporadic and given last one was recently, I was not expcting one in the near future. :) regards, guillem
