Mostly to give a hint to any external tester, in a hope that he or she
takes a look at the failing script before filing a bug. The information
in itself will only have a bearing on automated build servers, since
development systems for manual use will presumably never lack any of
the mentioned utilities. On the other hand, a continuous builder like
Hydra at Nixos.org, or rather its jobset maintainer, gets important
hints on required packages for automated test runs. It is only since
I have begun collaborating with Ludovic Coutès on their setup that
these ideas came up. Now only the coverage jobset on x86_64 and the
build_shishi jobset on solaris, i.e., OpenIndiana, are failing, but
not due to GNU Inetutils. We get positive results for i686-linux,
x86_64-linux, i686-freebsd, and i686-solaris for all other jobsets.

Best regards,
  Mats
