Dear all, I have just begun the development of a feature test on ifconfig. It is a dangerous script, when run an a connected system, but it will in the end serve us as a documentation as to what modes and features we know to be functional.
Interestingly, the first uploaded version runs flawlessly on GNU/kFreeBSD where is was first written, but it does display failures on GNU/Linux and OpenIndiana, which were the two system checks I conducted just before pushing the script. Best regards for now, Mats E A
