Not sure where we got with the SkyOS + explicit libc checking but now
that the list is acting normal again, I'll bring it back up.
We left off with the below quoted, according to my records. Here's
what's inside config.guess:
i*86:skyos:*:*)
echo ${UNAME_MACHINE}-pc-skyos`echo ${UNAME_RELEASE}` | sed -e 's/ .*$//'
exit ;;
I'm guessing the latter part of your response is something you'd have to
do on your end?

Support for SkyOS probably needs to be added to Libtool. Including a setting
in libtool.m4 to set archive_cmds_need_lc=no manually.
