Hi, Based on recent thread on AC_LIBTOOL_SYS_DYNAMIC_LINKER:
I wonder why it is actually necessary for libtool to query system library search dirs from gcc, because when gcc is used as linker, it will know where to get system libs from. Are there exceptions to this behaviour, which libtool has to work around ?
