Yes, libunistring so far is based on Unicode 8.0. Yes, it will be updated to Unicode 9.0 at some point. Daiki has prepared a patch to update parts of libunistring to Unicode 9.0, but ran out of time with it. But that's not urgent, right? Few people are using the new characters, and I guess the widespread fonts don't cover them either, yet. Bruno
