The positioning of accidentals is sometimes incorrect. Some examples: . <bis es gis> # # LilyPond gives b but it should be b -- the top # # accidental should be nearest to the chord. . <es as> The distance between the two flats is too big. . <gis cis> # # LilyPond gives # which is plain wrong -- it must be # . . <ges es'> b LilyPond gives b which is not possible for a sixth. It must b be b . . <g! des> This is even worse! The interval is only a fifth, but LilyPond aligns the accidentals vertically (well, the natural is even nearer to the stem than the flat which increases the bad appearance).
