The spacing algorithm has changed a lot from 1.4 to 1.6 so you should 
expect to get different spacings if you compile the same file with 1.4 
and 1.6.
So if you compare your old output with your new output then the spacing 
should be changed.
However if you compiled both the old and the new .ly-files with 1.6 and 
STILL see differences then it is weird (probably a bug), and I would 
like to see an example of this.
