You didn't say what Linux distribution you are using, but it seems that you have the same problem as: http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/lilypond-user/2004-08/msg00034.html
Or, possibly, it could be the problem described here: http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/lilypond-user/2003-10/msg00082.html In that case, you have to install also the guile-devel package.
