Cygwin is currently lilypond 2.2.5.
It has the standard GNU documentation in INSTALL.html.
The decription of behavior of VIM is that it is autoconfigured upon installation of lilypond. This is not true for cygwin, the .vim files for lilypond are not found. Also the documentation about where things are put and paths relating to vim configuration are simply not right as per VIM mode within lilypond.
If I am not addressing the correct party, please forward this on to the correct party rather than redirecting me.
