In my way to assimilate lilypond-book, I discovered this "uncontrolled skidding
on the keyboard".
Original:
--dvi Generate DVI files. In this case, the TeX backend should be specified,
i.e., -f tex
should look like:
--dvi Generate DVI files. In this case, the TeX backend should be specified,
i.e., -b tex
^^^
As a matter of fact:
lilypond -b tex --dvi file.ly
or
lilypond -b tex -f dvi file.ly
