Hi, Please check that you've got the correct LilyPond binary:
If you've got an Intel Mac, you have to download the one that says "Mac OS X (Intel)". If you've got an older PPC Mac, you have to download the one that says "Mac OS X (G3, G4, G5 Macs)".
