New issue 759 by v.villenave: Hidden staves take place if there are lyrics http://code.google.com/p/lilypond/issues/detail?id=759 Removing staves using RemoveEmptyStaffContext is usually OK if there are no lyrics. There's equal amount of space between the staves. However, if there *are* lyrics the spacing is messed up and the invisible staves start taking some space. You can see the difference when you compare the space between the first and the second stave and between the second and the third. If there's no lyrics the spacing is normal (between 3rd and 4th staves). %%% \version "2.12.2" \paper { ragged-right = ##t indent = 0\mm between-system-padding = 0\mm } \score { << \new Staff { c'1 c' \break c' c' \break c' c' \break c' c' } \addlyrics { foo bar foo bar } \new Staff { c'1 c' s s s s c' c' } \addlyrics { foo bar } >> \layout { \context { \RemoveEmptyStaffContext } } } Attachments: hidden_staves_take_space_with_lyrics.png 10.0 KB -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
