Hmm... that would be nice, but we already have a bunch of bug reports about collisions between note-heads and beams and the like.
If you can find this example working in the 2.12 or 2.10 regtests, I'll add it as Critical. If you find the example working in 2.8 or earlier, then I'll add it as Medium.
