Hello, Ties (~) between measures (meaning : across bars) are note rendered in MIDI output (that is : notes are repeated).
This bug is not mentioned in : http://lilypond.org/doc/v2.10/Documentation/user/lilypond/Ties-and-slurs#Ties-and-slurs nor in : http://lilypond.org/doc/v2.10/Documentation/user/lilypond/Creating-MIDI-files#Creating-MIDI-files (However, in this last file, it is well written that "Ties, dynamics, and tempo changes are interpreted") NB : My MIDI player is Timidity, my OS is Linux Debian 5.
