For what it counts, I still do not see the need to change the current treble clef. But IMHO your last proposal is far more acceptable than your first design. As I said, I'm not a font specialist and I won't vote against your work. Count me as neutral. If the majority prefers the new suggestion, then let's switch to it. It won't be possible to please everybody.
