I disagree slightly here. The user reported the problem to bug-lilypond. That is the first step. The second step is that a bug squad member should add this to our tracker as type-Critical regression. Somebody suggested a possible cause of the problem; that information should also be added. In the following discussion, AFTER the bug has been added to the tracker, we may decide to drop support for osx 10.4. If we make that decision, the osx download page will be modified to reflect it.
