The longer the example, the less likely a programmer is to look at
it.  We already have one or two long examples that segfault in the
bug tracker, which have failed to attract interest.

If you really can't reduce the example any further, then sure we
can add the example.  But I was responding to Ralph as a general
question of the next step of his job.  That next step is to "toss
the ball back into your court" by asking if you can reduce it.  If
the answer is "no", then he can add the example.
