Nitpick: I'd change the comments here

% Corrected to avoid collisions

r8

<f c'-5>8

<f c'\5>8

\override StrokeFinger.add-stem-support = ##t

<f c'-\rightHandFinger #2 >8

}

this way:

  % No tweak needed
  r8
  <f c'-5>8
  <f c'\5>8
   % Corrected to avoid collisions
  \override StrokeFinger.add-stem-support = ##t
  <f c'-\rightHandFinger #2 >8

Think this is slightly tricky. The snippet as it stands is relevant to users prior to 2.18, and there are likely to be a number.

I think the best solution would be to redo this as 2 snippets: one for 2.16 and before, which is not included in the docs, and one for 2.18 with only the StrokeFinger tip, which is included in the docs.
