Hi all, This is a problem of bounding boxes. All the graphics files are being automatically cropped according to the characters' bounding boxes and as all the varC clefs don't have their proper heights and depths in Metafont, the "balls" will be cut off.
tenorvarC is saved by the treble clef contained, but all the alto varC clefs seem to have taken over the original C clefs' depth and height, totally ignoring the balls outside that make them higher and deeper. In this graphics I've marked the bounding boxes of clefs.tenorG and clefs.varC in red: clef-bounding-boxes.png <http://lilypond.1069038.n5.nabble.com/file/t3887/clef-bounding-boxes.png> As soon as one of the varC clefs sticks out into the upper or lower margin, everything that stands out from the bounding box will be cut off. We should adapt the new clefs' bounding boxes to their actual size, shouldn't we?
