I changed the snippet following your suggestion. Though, I've no clue about clarinet ... However, the not corrected snippet fails with a similar gs-error on my machine using 2.18.2: `(gs -q -dSAFER -dDEVICEWIDTHPOINTS=737.01 -dDEVICEHEIGHTPOINTS=226.77 -dCompatibilityLevel=1.4 -dNOPAUSE -dBATCH -r1200 -sDEVICE=pdfwrite -sOutputFile=./atest-92.pdf -c.setpdfwrite -fatest-92.ps)' failed (256) No clue why it works inside LSR. As far as I know LSR is always running in jail, this may have an impact here. Or probably: my 2.18.2 uses Ghostscript 8.70 maybe LSR is different...
