Indeed, it is incorrectly documented; it should be 'WARN' everywhere. Note that the `lilypond` binary is less restrictive than the scripts; it also accepts 'warning' or 'WARNING_FOOBAR' as possible values since only the first few characters are checked, ignoring the case.
