Ah, yes, you are right, I didn't think about the transformation to a
man page.  I agree, the sentence should be massaged by `help2man`.

Funnily, even `help2man.1` has

```
--help   print this help, then exit
```

Maybe it makes sense to open feature requests for `help2man` that
addresses your concerns.
