thanks a lot for your fast reply! Here's issue I just opened:

I found an older PDF from the very sheet I was working on, compiled back in 
2017 using Lilypond 2.18.2 (luckily, I always include the date and version in 
the tag line :-). This one also uses this very pattern, and it was rendered 
correctly back then (cf. the attached screenshot). So at least, version 2.18.2 
did not produce this bug yet. I used this pattern quite often, but this is the 
only case where the D. S. is followed by a line break and a compressed full 
measure rest. As other constellations don't seem to trigger the problem, I 
can't be sure if a later version still worked.
