hi, I was wondering maybe you can help me solve my problem: recently, I setup OpenBSD on one of my old P1 machines.
on that machine I tried to install PHP which requires bison and I got the following messages while trying to configure bison: checking for m4... /usr/bin/m4 checking whether m4 supports frozen files... no configure: error: GNU M4 1.4 is required before I tried to install bison I installed the latest M4 (the installetion was completed successfully), so that I know I do have M4 installed on my machine. then i tried to install autoconf-2.59 (I read on a forum that running the configure.ac configuration file might help) and got the same message. the path to M4 is present at the $PATH var - someone also adviced me to check this out.... I appreciate your time, Thanks and have a nice day... Nir Idisis. _______________________________________________ Bug-m4 mailing list [email protected] http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/bug-m4
