Follow-up Comment #1, sr #105800 (project m4):
The idea sounds useful; I'll probably add something along these lines closer
to when M4 2.0 is released. But the nice part about CVS head (the eventual
M4 2.0) is that you can write your own m4 builtins as a dynamic library, and
extend the power of the m4 language without having to wait for the next
release to implement something as a builtin.
