Hi Paul, Colin So the configure snippet worked and is passing through pre-merge CI at:
https://gitlab.com/freedesktop-sdk/freedesktop-sdk/-/merge_requests/33462 Once m4 was rebuilt we hit the same problem with gettext which also imports gnulib source. Applying the same configure snippet worked there too. I'd prefer to carry that patch but as we're building m4 from the release tarball it would require running autoreconf after patching the .m4, which is a bit problematic in our bootstrapping process but I will work on it. I'll keep an eye on the thread on bug-gnulib, thanks for both of your speedy responses.
