I realized that my previous email was not too clear. While writing and rewriting the code fragment, I was Got to the point where I was able to get it to work sometimes, But it is not consistent. Sometimes, I was able to get Text from the stream, but not every time. If I don't get text from the stream, it is because I get the illegal seek error.

I have been writing and rewriting the code fragment To try to get it to work and my results have been intermittent. Sometimes, I would be able to get text from the stream and sometimes I would get the illegal seek error. Do you have any suggestions to what maybe causing the illegal seek error to occur ? Thanks in advance. - Melinda -----Original Message----- From: Sergey Poznyakoff [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Monday, June 13, 2005 7:29 AM To: Melinda Chin Cc: [email protected] Subject: Re: [bug-mailutils] Illegal seek error Hi Melinda, I have tested your code fragment and it worked OK. I'll send you in private the output it produced.
