Melinda, simply stating that you get such-and-such errors is not enough to correctly diagnose the cause of the problem. Please, specify as much detail as possible: how exactly did you configure the packet? what are you doing to send mail? where do you see the error (in what log file)? have you tried verbose or debugging mode and if so what messages did you get? etc...
