I really can't say what is going on. I removed EVERYTHING having to do
with guile from my system (I do not need it for now anyway). I
compiled the package (with your patch) and installed it in
/usr/local/mailutils. The vacation action is where it is supposed to
be (/usr/local/mailutils/lib/mailutils/vacation.so) but the sieve
library CANNOT 
find it (neither with the #searchpath directive nor with the -L flag
in the sieve binary).
I can't say what is wrong and how I got it to work in the first
place. What is the underlying mechanism that implements the search
algorithm described in the manual for the search of extensions in
sieve?
