Yes, the issue is solved. fcntl(2) indeed works in our setup (Debian
GNU/Linux clients, Netapp filers). However, since there is no elegant
way in mailutils at the moment, I use 2 lockers for the mail box dotlock
(default) plus an fcntl one. I manipulate the second locker by
hand. Perhaps later on, I will implement a new type of locker that
locks both ways.
