Oh, frankly speaking, installing Mailutils only for the sake of
/bin/mail is like shooting sparrows with a heavy howitzer.  Especially
when using Mailutils 3.x :^)  Nevertheless, I agree that such a usage
should be accounted for.

Yes, we're heading steadily toward that goal.  It is of a lower
priority compared to other pending tasks, though.  I'll see to it
once I finish re-implementing imap client support.
