Hi, Sergey,

I'm kind of at a standstill here -- I can't seem to delete messages via
imap4d/Thunderbird, and I can't seem to get debugging working so that I
can try and figure it out.

So while imap4d was running, I opened a mailbox and deleted a message.

Based on this rsyslog.conf statement:

#

# Emergencies are sent to everybody logged
in.
#

*.emerg *

imap4d then sent messages to the terminals I had open to the effect of
this log message:

Jun 11 09:29:07 kaikala imap4d[20798]: mailbox corrupted, shrank in size

To go back to Thunderbird, the behavior is very interesting when I try
to delete a message: it deletes it, says it was deleted, then something
flashes in the status area to fast for me to see, then something about
downloading a message, and then the message I tried to delete reappears
in the same position it originally had in the mailbox.

I really wish I could get past this. I need to move on to other things,
and this is taking up a lot of time.

Sincerely,

Chris
