The #1 result for a google search for "gmake" is http://www.gnu.org/software/make. As far as I know, it's only called "gmake" on certain systems, to distinguish it from other versions of "make". I'll forward your suggestion to the maintainers of GNU Make, so they can consider it and possibly update the page accordingly.
