Follow-up Comment #3, bug #34167 (project make):
It's not clear to me that this is due to a bug in make. Offhand it looks like
a configuration or environment problem, not a bug in make. Are you still
seeing Purify errors when you try to run this version of make?
If you are please attach the output of that run and I'll take a look.
