.SHELLSOURCE = require "$(.SHELLSCRIPT)"; SHELL=ruby: .SHELLSOURCE = require "$(.SHELLSCRIPT)" If SHELL doesn't have an include/source directive, then there's a challenge---but no worse than the E2BIG.
