There is a new branch in the readline git repository on savannah:
readline-7.0-testing.
This will hold the various pre-release versions of readline-7.0 until that
release is final. The initial set of commits consists of the
readline-7.0-alpha release. A more traditional tarfile-based release will
follow soon.
