Hello, For information,
For test, I have compiled a new tar version release 1.21, in SunOS 5.10. I have the same problem, with following message with option --atime-preserve Cannot utime: Not owner Exiting with failure status due to previous errors Thank, Bertrand LECLERC -----Message d'origine----- De : Sergey Poznyakoff [mailto:[email protected]] Envoyé : jeudi 22 janvier 2009 11:52 À : LECLERC Bertrand (EXT) Cc : [email protected] Objet : Re: [Bug-tar] Bug in gtar in SunOS with 139099-01 patch. Probably it was produced by SunOS. > Remove the patch 139099-01 no longer generates the error. This means the problem is in the patch itself, so the question should rather be addressed to SunOS, I suppose.
