I believe that Gene is remembering the discussion of the "--one-file-system / --listed-incremental" bug discussed on this list in November 2010. Here's the test case submitted to this list by the Amanda maintainer on that issue: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/msg03017.html "incremental backups and --one-file-system (version 1.25)" (According to that thread, you [Paul] pushed a fix for the bug on Nov 22, but obviously that was after tar 1.25 was released.)
