I don't think "pulling more of the ecosystem up to pax" is such a good idea. Pax is not a good format neither from the point of view of efficiency nor from the point of view of safety. IMO pax extensions should be used with frugality until it is replaced by a properly designed format (hopefully before the year 2246).
