Something about my application seems to be exposing bugs in
texinfo... :)

I believe all three would have been found easily by the compiler
if we used proper function prototypes.
Yes, this is something I want to do. There has been a standard way to
support that for quite a while now (ansi2knr), but I've never taken the
time to prototypify. Given this bug report, clearly it would be
worthwhile :).
