Well, something unrelated: `info info ad sea` <Tab> <Enter> gives me "Incremental Search: No such file or directory". Not having Emacs installed, how to find an explanation of I-search? Of course, it appears to be simple enough: it's just like find-as-you-type in Firefox. Nice. Never knew `info` could do this. But having to use Google in order to learn how to do find-next during incremental search is... not ideal. Sections 2.5 and 2.6 (Create Info buffer and Emacs Info Variables) aren't applicable to stand-alone `info`, so it would be nice if they could be suppressed for the plain info reader. When typing <?> it says under Other commands: 9 Pick first ... ninth item in node's menu. Hadn't that better read: 1 ... 9 Pick first ... ninth item in node's menu. Benno
