I thought I'd get some fun metrics from Texinfo's ChangeLog. Thanks :).
Top 10 contributors by number of entries:
For the record, of course the top "contributor" (= initial author) is
Brian Fox. Not reflected in the ChangeLog (although there are a lot of
entries by him in ChangeLog.46) since he wrote the initial versions of
makeinfo and info. rms wrote the initial install-info, texindex, and
texinfo.tex, as I recall.
I doubt I've touched a large fraction of Brian's original code.
